Front of House team member

Jesmond

40-44 hours/week full time

Shift Supervisor- Front of House

Gosforth

40-44 hours/week full time

 

We’re continuing our big summer ‘22 recruitment drive with two more great full time roles. Front of house positions are available in Gosforth and Jesmond- with possible crossover and shift sharing between the two branches for new team members to get fully skilled up in all areas of our busy bakery.

 

There are two 40-44h hour/week roles available here, a Shift Supervisor predominantly based in Gosforth and a Front of House team member for our new Jesmond shop and cafe. Both jobs will involve some Saturday working and 7am starts. 

 

Front of house positions are really valued with us, much more than just a friendly server we’re looking for people who can confidently and passionately talk customers through our brilliant range of baked goods and be entrusted with responsibility for lots of the logistics aspects of our bakeries. We pay the real living wage for all staff over 21. 

 

You’ll be serving customers, managing online and wholesale orders, getting stuck into food production tasks, constantly communicating with the baking teams about the carefully made products you’re selling. As we move into the next phase for our business there’s never been a better time to find yourself at home with a role that will stretch and challenge you organised, detail oriented food lovers out there.

 

You’ll be- 

 

  • Barista trained and able to make beautiful coffees 

  • An enthusiastic communicator about food, ingredients, the great baked goods we make daily

  • Able to fluidly prioritise your tasks, keeping our customers always at the centre but still seeing that cleaning task, order to pack, counter to replenish

  • Experienced in a food service environment with an understanding of food hygiene and safe, clean working practices

  • A great team worker who thrives on that feeling of getting in sync with your colleagues to make a busy hospitality day flow the right way

 

For our shift supervisor role you’ll also 

 

  • Be confident supervising staff and leading a shift, allocating tasks and being accountable for the overview of a busy bakery day

  • Able to assist with some day to day office admin tasks including replying to online queries and emails about online, wholesale and stock orders

Salary for our Front of House roles starts at £10/hour (£20,800/year) and Shift Supervisor positions start at £10.35 (£21,538/year).
